Unpleasant, avoid!
God-awful. It's not worth it to join, I promise you. You'll pay more in the end than you would have had you joined a nicer gym. No gym should be roping people into long-term contracts, and the other gyms in town don't do that. These people have been absolutely dreadful to deal with. They double-billed me and have refused to refund the money. Also, I gave them adequate documentation regarding my move out-of-state, and they still said they would charge me for a month when I wouldn't be in NC at all (i.e., after I had moved). These people are god-awful and show no respect for people who've paid their bills on time and been friendly to them. If they had refunded the $35 they overbilled me and not tried to screw me over with the cancellation date of my contract, I would have given them a positive review, one that glossed how filthy the gym is.
